Barry is Regional Director, Europe for the International Safety Council, USA, the overseas subsidiary of the National Safety Council, USA and has nearly 30 years experience of providing technical consultancy and training to leading organizations in the UK, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the USA. He has a degree in Metallurgy from Imperial College, London and is a Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health, a Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. For 13 years, he was an examiner and then Chief Examiner in Risk Analysis for the IRM and the Chairman of its Examinations Committee.
He has worked in a wide range of industries, both manufacturing and service, including projects for chemical, petrochemical, facility management, utilities, food & drink and engineering companies as well as governmental agencies and NGO's such as the Medical Research Council and International Labor Organization. His clients have included Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, BP Chemicals, Siemens, Schering Agrochemicals, Cadbury Schweppes, Philip Morris and Kraft Foods.
Barry is currently a visiting lecturer in Risk Management at University College, and Imperial College, London and was External Examiner on the postgraduate program at Loughborough University. He is currently on the board of a research project being carried out by University College, London & University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology using cognitive mapping as a tool for identifying the factors, which influence risk perception in construction projects.
Prior to joining the International Safety Council, USA, he was a consultant with the Willis Business Risk Practice and had been Principal Consultant with Ajax Health & Safety Services |

Dr. Windle was educated at Imperial College, London University. He was awarded a Physics degree in 1969 and a PhD from the Faculty of Engineering in 1974. Currently he works as a consultant in the field of engineering and project risk assessment for electrical and defense industries within the UK.

Namir George is a registered European Engineer and was educated at Aston University in Birmingham UK. He graduated with a BSc. in Chemical Engineering in 1979 and an MSc. in Occupational Health and Safety in 1981.
He is currently employed as an area manager for the International Safety Council, USA, a global subsidiary of the National Safety Council, USA.
He has 25 years experience in the field of Safety and Loss prevention gained in various industry sectors. He worked at various positions for blue chip organizations such Glaxo Smith Kline, Kraft Food International Honeywell and Dailycer. In addition he worked for several safety consultancies and undertook several projects including chemical, petrochemical, food and drink, automotive, utilities and pharmaceuticals.
He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, registered European Engineer, Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, member of American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and an affiliate member of Institution of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). In addition he is a member of the Birmingham Health, Safety and Environmental Association (BHSEA). |
